McCann FitzGerald Advises Greencoat Renewables on its €165m Placing
We advised Greencoat on its over-subscribed €165m placing, which was approved by shareholders yesterday. The shares were admitted to trading on Euronext Dublin and the London Stock Exchange today.
The placing is the first tranche of a 12 month share issuance programme for up to 400 million new ordinary shares. The proceeds will be used to partly pay down the company’s revolving credit facility and to provide the company with the flexibility to make further investments in line with its investment policy.
McCann FitzGerald previously advised Greencoat on its initial public offering and subsequent share placings, its entry into a revolving credit facility and its acquisitions of Irish wind farms.
The McCann FitzGerald team was led by Stephen FitzSimons and Valerie Lawlor and included Jack Kelly and Louise Flanagan.
