Tom acts for both lenders and borrowers in relation to property finance, development finance, acquisition finance, cash-flow lending, student accommodation, hotels, SME lending and syndicated lending. This includes advising on lending to funds, including ICAVs and other forms of QIAIFs. Tom acts for several non bank lenders and has a lot of recent experience in this market.

Tom has considerable recent experience in development finance transactions and has acted for lenders and borrowers on several major recent construction projects. Tom also has significant experience in debt led joint ventures and restructurings.

  • Bluebay Ireland Corporate Credit I Limited in relation to facilities advanced to various SMEs.
  • Lone Star/ Hudson in relation to development facilities being advanced for a several substantial residential developments.
  • Quadrant in relation to the development of several major Dublin docklands office and mixed use developments.
  • the funders in relation to the acquisition and redevelopment of the Frascati shopping centre by a sub fund of the Davy Opportunity Trust Fund.
  • the GSA group and Hattington in respect of facilities to fund several student accommodation projects.
