Ciara advises clients on a wide range of Irish corporate law matters, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, joint ventures, corporate governance, corporate reorganisations, carve-outs and other significant corporate transactions.   

She has particular experience advising private equity sponsors and financial institutions on their investments in Ireland, as well as on complex multi-jurisdiction corporate reorganisations.

Ciara’s experience spans a broad range of sectors, with a particular focus on the aviation, pharma, technology, communications and infrastructure sectors.

  • ORIX Corporation on the Irish aspects of its acquisition of a 30% shareholding in Avolon Holdings.
  • Luminate Capital Partners, a leading enterprise software focused private equity firm, on its strategic investment in Compliance and Risks.
  • Apollo Global Management, on its acquisition of 37MW Tullahennel wind farm from GE Capital and its subsequent sale to Greencoat Renewables.
  • EQT Infrastructure on the Irish aspects of its $2.5bn acquisition of EdgeConneX, a leading global data center provider serving the fast-growing hyperscale and edge ecosystems.    
  • Sirius Aviation Capital on its establishment and a number of separate aircraft leasing joint ventures with US private equity funds Corrum Capital and HPS Investment Partners.
