Experience

Alison advises employers, contractors and design team members on all aspects of construction contracts prior to, and during, the planning and delivery of large scale infrastructure projects, such as hospitals.

Alison also represents and advises clients in the resolution of complex construction disputes using Alternative Dispute Resolution methods (arbitration, adjudication, mediation and conciliation) as well as litigation disputes principally referred to the Commercial division of the High Court.

For the past five years, Alison has been seconded to the role of General Counsel to the National Paediatric Hospital Development Board. During this time, Alison has been responsible for providing strategic legal advice to the Board as well as managing and coordinating all legal matters that have arisen under the New Children’s Hospital contracts, to include a large volume of high value disputes.
