McCann FitzGerald LLP advises WestRock on combination with Smurfit Kappa to create Smurfit WestRock plc (NYSE) with market cap of $25bn
We were delighted to advise U.S-based corrugated packaging company WestRock in its $25 billion combination with Europe's leading corrugated packaging company Smurfit Kappa to create Smurfit WestRock.
Under the terms of the deal, Smurfit WestRock has been listed on the NYSE under the new ticker symbol “SW” and the LSE under the ticker “SWR.”
The combined Smurfit WestRock has a unique geographic footprint creating a global leader in sustainable packaging.
