McCann FitzGerald LLP advises Warburg Pincus on sale of Engine Leasing Platform to Global Alternative Asset Manager

We are delighted to have worked with Warburg Pincus and Kirkland on the Irish aspects of the sale of Aquila Air Capital, a leading full-service aircraft leasing and financing platform, to funds managed by Wafra Inc., a New York-based, global alternative asset manager.

The transaction is expected to close in Q4 2024, pending receipt of customary regulatory approvals and the financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
