McCann FitzGerald LLP advises AIB on c.€1bn directed share buyback from the Irish Minister for Finance
We are delighted to have worked with our long-standing client AIB on its buyback of ordinary shares from the Irish Minister for Finance.
The transaction, which was a related party transaction requiring the publication and approval of a shareholder circular under each of the Irish and UK Listing Rules, was approved at an extraordinary general meeting of AIB shareholders on 2 May 2024.
