The Green Shoots of Sustainability
The signing of the Paris Agreement and the adoption of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals in 2015 laid the basis for a new EU sustainability agenda which provides the building blocks for a greener, more resilient and circular economic system. Part of this agenda seeks to ensure that companies disclose more and better information about their social and environmental performance and that financial market players use this information when making investment decisions.
In this presentation, Imelda Higgins and Martin O'Neill looked at the new and proposed legislative measures being adopted to green the EU’s economy and explained how these are set to become a game changer for all companies.
