Consumer Rights and Trader Wrongs: Changes are Coming Soon
In this presentation, a panel of McCann FitzGerald advisers described the principal changes that the extensive and wide-ranging Consumer Rights Bill will introduce in coming months. Of course, for every consumer right there is a corresponding obligation on the relevant trader. These important changes are coming soon and will affect contracts for digital content and contracts for digital services as well as general trading arrangements with consumers (such as contracts for the sale of goods or for the supply of a service, and unfair terms in consumer contracts).
Those dealing with consumers need to prepare – now – for these important and extensive changes in areas of law that have largely been settled for decades. This presentation will be an important step in your preparation for the new regime.
